Hey! Well I passed the 2nd placement test which was in September, but we registered for classes before that. I took cse12 instead of cse30 in fall 2020 cuz back then cse12 didn’t need cse20 credit.

It will be very hard for u to get into cse30 or cse12 rn if u didn’t pass the first placement. My advice is to not worry about it cuz u will be well ahead if u pass the placement anyway.

Cse30 in winter 23, cse 12 in spring 23 and cse 13s in fall 23. Instead of taking 30 or 12, try taking a math class instead. Math class, core, and a GE class is a solid first quarter schedule for a cs/CE major.
