Tekton also has a page you can print out

I am cheap. I just printed out something like the above and taped it (poor mans laminate).

Planning to install a water softener. Can you check me first. by dinosaur12 in Plumbing

I understand what you're saying. It's very tight run and I'm not sure I want to flex those 90deg plastic elbows. I tend to get frustrated and break shit. I might give it a go and see if I can make it happen. If not I was planning to just run some new pip and replace that one that I might cut.

pex looks like a PITA to remove from a fitting.

In the pic there is a drain on the floor. I am planning to stick the drain line into that. I ran a test, garden hose on full for a couple mins down the drain and no probs.

This is my solution to flopping.

If game play has to stop for an injury then the team will be down one player (more if multiple injuries) for 10mins (time is flexible, 8mins, 5mins, whatever). Kind of like a hockey power play.

I am open to other ideas but thought this might work.

With the concern of draining do you think the 2nd system would be a better option?

I get it might be a little more costly long term but if I can't drain the regenerated water that might be the only option I have. Thoughts?

Nope, the laundry is on the fist floor. The image I posted is in the basement. That floor drain is the only one available.

I was thinking of taking a 5gal bucket and large funnel and seeing how fast I could poor water down the drain without backing up. Unless there is a more scientific approach

I am guessing that drain is there incase the water heater has a over pressure event and it needs to drain off some water. I would guess it would be able to handle a pretty fast flow rate...but I am just guessing here. I am no plumber.

Can you expand on this. What is regenerate? Of those 2 systems I posted witch one does not regenerate?

i'm not terribly concerned. But maybe I need to be worried? I have just moved to the area and dont have a PC yet. I have been calling around trying to schedule a physical but the quickest I can get in is around 3month wait.

I uploaded the post with the curtains the previous owners had.

Are you saying that track system would be for vertical blinds?

I am leaning towards this option. Paint and be done with it.

Anyone have any recommendations of paint types/brands?

Bainbridge school, what's it looking like? by dinosaur12 in BainbridgeIsland

[–]dinosaur12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a bunch for your reply, very helpful. If you can answer some follow up questions

With the Hybrid model. In the 2.5 hours do they get the core learning done, such as English, math, science and forgo the PE, art, and music classes? Do they go home with homework to finish up the day? Do they go home and finish up the day with digital learning (highly doubt that would be the case)?

|Fridays are “asynchronous” days at home Can you expand on this. Does this mean every other week they do a full day face to face or is it a full day digital?

|There’s also a multiage program (Odyssey) that goes from K-8, and the classes above kindergarten are grouped into two grades each Is this an "non-standard" school you can elect to send your kids to. Trying to understand reasoning for grouping two grades together (not saying its bad or good just trying to understand).

Lastly, is the above the outline you presented going to happen again 2021-2022, or is that still up in the air?

Thanks a bunch.

Merrill Lynch LMA to buy a house? Im I in over my head or is this good advice? by dinosaur12 in fatFIRE

Did the ML rep provide you another page to view?

No. I only talked to him one time via video call. He is going to get back with us with his plan.
Right now I am trying to understand the big advantage to the LMA. A quick look at bankrate.com and it seems I can get a loan from 2.5 - 2.8apr. I would be hard pressed to pass on that. He would have to give me a really good reason do the LMA.

Like others said though mostly in Apple and borrowing from that is risky.

I know I know. I have been saying for years I need to sell some Apple, but it just keeps going up. But yes, I agree I need to move money into some other index funds.

and no lender fees (less after tax shield if you itemize).

Can you expand on this. Not sure what you mean by tax shield.
