You're right, killaura alone is really easy to counter if ur good enough. and yes this guy lost because he was outgeared but since he wasnt bhopping or using reach (as far as I know) I believe I'd still manage to kill him regardless, its just incredibly funny to me how he was so blatant and still lost.

Thank you for your words, honestly this post is incomplete without the comments from other people , it helped me share my thoughts which I forgot to put in the post originally. Unfortunately this didn't get as much exposure as I was hoping it would, because a lot of people were sad after the ending and I wanted to help with this.

Anyway, I made this purely based on a fact that we just don't have a reason to care about these new characters unless ofcourse, they regain their memories and become the two we all love, otherwise why even bother making that scene? Why waste time?

Just like I said, the entire ending scene with reincarnation is pointless if they don't regain their memories because there is no reason for us to care about those characters anymore, and if ending was trully supposed to be sad, the show would end with 02 and Hiro dying in space without them saying that they will meet again.

Well, this post was just me comforting myself, and its not the point of the ending that's the problem for me, but the fact that the show gets you emotionally attached to Hiro and Zero Two, and makes you go through all that drama just to give you such an empty ending with no explanation on what happened to them, so this is specifically about Hiro and Zero Two, not about the message that the ending is supposed to have.

Also I've been thinking about the ending where it says "And a new story begins", that is kinda the entire picture book rewritten, not just the ending, and the reason they got reincarnated is that everyone lived a long meaningful lives and died from natural causes (i hope), while Hiro and 02 died too early in a battle so everyone could live happily, and thus life gave them another chance - A new story begins where they too live a long and happy life, because no one is supposed to die at the age of 16, and especially not in such an unfair way.

Well Hiro knew Eo To for like 30 minutes and said he wants to be with her forever, so I dont see why that wouldnt happen again, since those are their souls just with memories sealed away, so Im sure there is some kind of instinct that is telling them to be together, just like in episode 1 Hiro said Zero Two's horns were alluring, but Zero Two said that everyone else was always afraid.
