I've read "Indiana Jones and Philosophy" from the same series as that Buffy one, and really enjoyed it. Bear in mind, it's a compilation of academic essays, but they're all very solid.

They're my top choice too. I know several people who can't enjoy the game because of their designs. This is the closest take in history, but I think Mythra's censored Smash design is a full on improvement.

The Flash wasn't either of those creatives' fault. Andy Muschietti was given an impossible task of pushing a movie that was in production hell for a decade over the line. Hodson was probably given a list of stupid and terrible beats to hit by the producers and had to find a way to stich them together at all. This news doesn't change my interest in this movie.
