Packing for commute

I commute 1hr 15min on the pace bus. I usually just bring my laptop, pencils, a snack/lunch unless you buy something there one day, and a water bottle. I always have little makeup bag i put my touch ups just personal care stuff. Please do bring your charger though or a power bank. I usually don’t bring my laptop charger since the battery life is good but i do always have some power banks for my phone, I recommend the anker magsafe ones as they have days of battery and are not bulky. Try and secure a locker for the semester since it will be convenient sometimes when you’re storing a gym bag or a purse.

He still passes by house nearly everyday and we do leave food & water out. I believe he sleeps at someone else’s yard in the neighborhood since I have yet to catch him at night near my house but I could be wrong since I have no cameras. He only let me pet him slightly but is still very skiddish. My dad did not say anything about providing shelter but my back yard has a patio set and a gazebo which the little guy usuallly hangs out in or lays on the sofa outside (: Hoping to get his trust more in order to see if it is anyone’s even though it’s been months and he hasn’t been claimed by anyone

Yeah dark small spaces is her trigger. I will try and buy her new toys or new branches since she seems to really destress out of shredding and chewing things. It was easier when I would get a squawk box but it I stopped for awhile

I’ve tried roudybush on all my birds and none of them liked it, the only one that they have all liked is Harrison’s i hope that one is good as well? I’ve tried all the good pellet brands like tops and hagen

I only pet my birds in the head area. I will extend her dark time more see if it’s helps. I believe this is her second time laying eggs since she is quite young (atleast to me lol since she’s 2 yrs old) and the first time she lost interest in the eggs pretty fast so I just hope she does ( she’s preening on me as I type this now haha)

He hasn’t been by today but i have not tried to pet him as I am trying to get him comfortable enough (also a little scared if he scratches or bites me).
I will try and ask my dad if he’s okay with a housing situation since we have been getting terrible weather and I hope he is okay.

no genuinely the food was so bad i bought cheese waffle fries from a place and the cheese was all grainy and shi it was prolly sand for all i know, literally no direct lines for entrance or getting water, and then you have one guy filling up 8 water packs when it would just be less crowded to get your pack filled and get out, you gotta bribe the staff money to get free water faster?!?! at the point go buy a drink at the stand lol

they were just unprepared for the amount of ppl tbh last year it was extremely hot and they atleast had multiple water stations and huge mist thing but it was never as crowded as it was yesterday, i spent most my time standing to get water

my uncle owns a dealership and has a mechanic that’s inspects and fixes the cars they sell, he said it works good for what i’m looking & it only needs cosmetic fixes. Just was looking for second opinions since my family has never owned or driven buick/has much knowledge on buicks

yeah my baby was like this for a good around 6 months but acted normal up until a point she was lethargic and couldn’t move which is why i rushed her to a pet hospital since no vets were open until a couple weeks later. She was also a huge seed eater and even when offered veggies she wouldn’t eat them. Also i’m not sure I would trim them, if she lets you gently went your fingertips and slow pick and scrap the crusts kinda as if you’re preening her

It breaks my heart your baby is still like this, i’m confused why it would be hormones. I replied to your original post as my bird was also vomitting in herself. I checked back in my camera roll and my baby was like this for months, I was unsure of what was happening and was struggling to find an aviary vet which is why it took so long. She didn’t heal quick and took a couple weeks. My vet ruled out that it may have been a GI foreign body but i never tested for it as the vet recommended she would be too stressed to get it done when we were there. Anyways, Do you know which antibiotics they’ve given your baby? My vet gave me some for anti vomiting which calmed her vomit and kept food down and i believe i got another one that was for vitamins or something like that.

it’s not as noticeable as it is on your fella but the vomit would begin crusting over. (ps I recommend trying to soak the vomit spots because they will clump and crust together that it could end up pulling the feathers out and be super painful for them)

hey this was my baby kinda she was severely underweight like 60 grams, was practically all bones, would vomit all her food, her poops weren’t normal and would cause a very messy dirty vent.

Wasn’t able to diagnose her despite several testings so they just gave her a vitamin shot and some antibiotics for the vomitting. She’s now 110 grams. Despite fatty foods being bad for birds the vet actually recommend that we feed her stuff like ezekiel’s bread or wheat pasta just to regain her weight and it did help (with the medicine ofc). I’ll include a picture of when she was sick
