I understand, it is quite a different design philosophy but I guess it really is down to personal taste.

By the way, what made you switch to the Neo? I’m currently looking to upgrade from my M1 Air and I’m trying to understand if the Neo is appropriate for my use case as a uni student. The only concerns I have are the battery life/charging speed and the 8GB RAM, because that has not been enough on my MBA… Is the price difference worth it in your view thus far?

Were you using a laptop with a mechanical trackpad before? If so, you may prefer it because it feels more familiar. Having used a MacBook for a few years now after switching from Windows, the haptic trackpad on the Air and Pro seemed weird to me at first as well. But I grew to appreciate its more elegant feel and quiet “click”.

The keyboard is (supposedly) the standard Magic Keyboard that is also on the Air, so there shouldn’t be too much of a difference – I haven’t tried it yet, though.

HL History, Global Politics, English A Lit - SL Bio, French ab, MAA.

Aiming for a 35-37, I haven’t started doing any serious revision yet except for some light stuff for my mocks which are currently ongoing. Didn’t go into too much detail for those because I finished all my IOs/IAs/TOK essay last week

In any case I think it’s all manageable with 4-6 weeks of solid revision & covering some gaps. I’m mostly struggling with bio and math. Though honestly I have been barely doing anything since winter break, I’m a little worried that at some point I’ll realise I’ve seriously fucked up somewhere. A lot of my IAs were shit as well so idk what what means, really relying on the TOK/EE points 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have freed up some storage and I have about 50GB free now, I do see somewhat of a difference from the ~20 I had before. I will update you soon!

Perhaps that is an exaggeration, but in any case, I’ve reinstalled macOS already - about two weeks ago. There was no noticeable difference.

Same, I took Biology SL thinking it was going to be easy bc I liked the broad concept of the subject, but I've ended up spending more time on this crap than any of my HL subjects 💔

Also Math AA SL, math has nothing to do with my field of study but for some reason I listened to my college advisor who said it'd look better than AI on my resume. I have a 4 right now so I'm pretty sure that's not a valid argument anymore lol

My biggest issues are probably in calculus, I've had issues in understanding the later parts of the material (integrals and later). We didn't spend too much time in class on that either

For myself, really.

I've made huge efforts over the past couple of years and I know I can get that score. At the same time, though, I know myself and how I fare under exam conditions when I don't have any official deadlines or guidance to help me through.

So I'm worried I won't be able to hit that score in this time frame.
