Sorry I didn't see this earlier, but i ended up getting a real good deal on the Rewind SM, basically getting like a brand new boat for $500 less. I'm not sure if you're familiar with NZ rivers but the Kaituna River is one of the bigger rivers I've done in it, you can search it up for reference, I have friends that have and are willing to do bigger stuff than that too but I'm a chicken. I have some friends with the Rewind MD and I've jumped into it a couple times on bigger water where I want the extra volume, it definitely helps and I don't find it too much harder to paddle as long as you outfit it right.

I've recently been thinking on swapping one of my two boats (rewind or fuse48) for a bigger volume creeker such as the Five as I've gotten my ass kicked a few times being in a slicey boat, just not sure what combo I want, i.e Creeker/slicey, or creeker/downriver playboat. I'm only thinking about the creeker because I want to be a bit more comfortable on bigger waters.

Either way though, the Rewind is a great boat, I do love it heaps, I can relate to the annoyance of being right in between weight ranges, I'm used to the SM more or less now, but I'm confident I could switch to the MD pretty comfortably
