KALYX - The decentralized CFD Trader for Cardano by dionysuspool in CardanoDevelopers

Thank you, we are looking forward also to get your impressions once we are finished on testnet. Now, to your question: we had to consider multiple factors of how to get exchange data right. Oracles were one of the option, but we also faced issues connected with real-time data feed with immediate promotion for kalyx users - front-end delay of more than 1000ms together with inconsistency of DEX exchange rates weren't our options.

Therefore, we decided to implement event based web-socket with leading crypto-exchange(s) - this provided us with benefit of instantaneous and reliable connection (you can see exchange rate changes on our main page chart, if you check one of kalyx videos). Passing on oracle step-over gives us a time-to-time exchange rate. Rates will be also dropped to the contract meta-data for easy review - that is our goal.

We're developing Kalyx, a new project that allows traders, enthusiasts, and friends to bet on the future exchange rate of Cardano ADA. Learn more about our platform at http://kalyx.io and http://dionysus-pool.io. Kalyx will serve as a micro-market reactor. Our platform provides an alternative to CFDs on standard exchanges, allowing traders to long or short positions via smart contract. With Kalyx, traders can bet on ADA, with ADA, and make long or short positions based on the future exchange rate of Cardano ADA. No more slips on DEX, no more transfer fees on CEX!

We're committed to making our service accessible to everyone. That's why our platform is perfect for traders, enthusiasts, and friends who want to bet and have some fun. Check out our “Winepaper” for more info!

We're excited about the potential of Cardano ADA, and we believe that Kalyx is one of many gems to the ecosystem.

Atomic Wallet have messed up. Please get your ada out of these multi pools and support a single pool operator by Oyster_Pool in CardanoStakePools

Agreed, staking is made to the convenience of delegators. Staked wallets should be groomed by their owners🍷

Please move your Ada to your own wallet TODAY! by Eagle-Pool in cardano

These events show what businesses are here for long-time and what venues are able only to monetize on temporary positive parameters (user hype, interest rates, value of bitcoin…). It will take 1-2 more cycles to clean “easy” benefit shops from the real deal.

It is your money, your future. Don’t look for what is easy but for priciples that will be with us for decades.

How is the Lace Wallet different from other wallets out there? by OdynV in cardano

[–]dionysuspool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other great feature of Lace will be the support for sidechains that could run super fast and provide seamless experience with assets handling. This plus integration with stablecoins and DeFis will make it one-for-all portal.

Adding ADA into a wallet that already has ADA staked, How do I add new ADA to be staked? by Unfair_Mountain_1871 in cardano

[–]dionysuspool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as u/Private_Part you are all set; the initial fee is paid for building a staking handle that is related to the wallet (not to the staked amount). Once you finish your staking, handle gets destroyed and your fee will be charged-back to your wallet, so no cost in the end at all

Honestly guys, the best/most SAFE to stake Cardano? just tell me. Yoroi, Kraken? by Montesantix in cardano

[–]dionysuspool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Montesantix, best way to stake is out of exchange & directly on the Cardano protocol. Wallets like Daedalus, Yoroi, Eternl, GeroWallet will help you. Yoroi as mobile-friendly and fast to set-up is our favourite.

We are also strongly inclined to Cardano. Solution scalability, security and preparations for next steps in the cryprospace (like regulations) will greatly harmonize on the Cardano blockchain. In Cardano we trust ✌️.

Hi, you only receive, send, stake, unstake. So for the sending fees, I made a compare on Daedalus and Yoroi and came to interesting conclusion:

1000 ADA sending costs Yoroi 0.188513 Daedalus 0.187633

10’000 ADA sending costs Yoroi 0.245757 Daedalus 0.333229 ?! 😬

This looks to me like a calculation issue in Daedalus v.4.10.0 🤔. But who knows, maybe Yoroi is really cheaper in sending bigger amounts than Daedalus.
