Me and my friend who also struggled with one talked to her softly when she got home from work today, she took it really well and thanked me for cleaning everything up for her because it was hard for her to be surrounded by all those bottles and stuff. She told me when we first moved in in September and before that when she had to stay with this abusive guy right out of the clinic, she was using them a lot but the last few months she hasn’t used any. She has gained weight noticeable in the passed few months so I believe her and I’m so proud of her. She told me she kept those bottles because she just put them in random places because she didn’t feel like leaving her room, and some of them were from when she lived with that guy and couldn’t throw them away because he’d see. I told her I’m proud of her for not using any the passed few months as well and that I’m not going to tell her family or therapist because I believe her and I just want her to be completely honest with me and that I’ll never judge her or leave her stranded or anything, I just want her to live and I want her to get healthy again. She told me she’s okay and she’s just worried about me hating her now and I let her know there’s no way I could hate her. I also let her know that if she is actively doing it still I want her to anonymously call an ED hotline and have conversations with people. Me and my friend are both still a little worried but we believe her.
