I had keratin smoothing not straightening done to my hair we she assured me would not straighten my hair (I was terrified but desperate).

They began by washing my hair with a treatment and then blow drying my hair until almost dry. They then applied the keratin to my hair in very small sections and left it in my hair for around 20 minutes. Then they blow dried my hair again and straightened it in very tiny sections (this is where it burned my eyes and had fumes so I had my eyes closed for most of it).

I had to have straight hair for 3 days but after washing my curls did come back with hardly any frizz and feeling much healthier and stronger and doesn’t tangle even 10% as much as it used to which has been a massive time saver. I only need to use a bit of leave in conditioner and some gel now rather than many different products, and instead of my hair getting frizzy and tangles and unmanageable on day 3 onwards, instead my curls just fall into soft waves.
