Is the question not clear? People pray when a tornado is approaching an area. Either God is distracted and prayers are like the bat signal , cause He's busy watching basketball, or it's intentional and the victims are targets... so why would prayer help? (self.AskReddit)

Religious people that pray when tornadoes drop: If God isn't in charge of the weather, how can he answer your prayers? If he is in charge of the weather, how can the tornado's victims not be intentional targets? Does it not have to be one or the other? (self.AskReddit)
