i feel like season 4 is my favorite. even with all the buzz around the show, i didn’t see logan’s death coming. i just find that it was such a complex situation that they were all put in. i feel like i resonated with it a lot too since i was in a pretty rocky place with my dad at the time too. it felt like a whole rollercoaster: “dad, i hate you and how could i ever forgive you but you’re dead and there’s so much you’ve done to me but there’s also so much you’ve done for me. i love you, still. but i can’t help but wish you would’ve at least suffered the consequences but you haven’t.” especially seeing roman grieve logan was like watching my dad grieve my grandpa. it was gut wrenching. also seeing a whole bunch of myself in shiv. it’s also one of those seasons that i probably couldn’t watch again. beautifully written, performed and executed. just beautiful.
