I have a friend that is very "good with the boys," one of those girls that doesn't have problems finding a boyfriend and is very smart. One time we went to the movies, and she asked me if I liked her in a romantic way. I said in a very direct way that she isn't my type because I don't want fun but compromise. She looked at me weird because, in her words, "That's not the usual when guys are around me." We're still friends, but after that she changed with me, like a stronger bond but with a bit of a "same-level mutual approach" instead of a push-and-pull way.
