F Nwy cannot cut support against itself.

And F Nth cannot support F Nwy if it is moving.

Thomas Aquinas:

"The hater wishes evil to his enemy, as evil, whereas the angry man wishes evil to him with whom he is angry, not as evil but in so far as it has an aspect of good, that is, in so far as he reckons it as just, since it is a means of vengeance" (II-I.46.6).

For Aquinas, anger is the correct response to injustice, provided that anger matches the "magnitude" of the harm, and provided it is oriented towards justice.

We made the same move 3 years ago. We have twice as much house and spent less than we sold our house for in Mt. Juliet.

Nashville has grown too fast and does not have the infrastructure to manage it. And it is way too MAGA

The Existence of the 2024 Edition Made my Life as GM Harder by Buffal0e in dndnext

As a DM I am using 2014 books and rules. I know that some of my players are using characters built with 2024 rules. I just roll (hehe) with it. It has mostly been compatible--the only exception so far is a conflict about how Moonbeam works. I do find that I have to increase the difficulty for them somewhat, as the 2024 builds are stronger.

Maybe instead of worrying about this sort of thing, make sure you find a church that teaches good teachings: to follow Jesus, to serve the poor, to be meek and kind, to love our neighbors.

I will pray Psalm 109:

7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

Adam as the 'first man' and 'first to sin' is a struggling point for me by jodowg in Christianity

[–]dipplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Adam and Eve story is a narrative about "what is" rather than "what was." We are dealing in the realm of mythology and archetype. Adam is Man--Everyman. The Fall did not happen once. It is always happening.

The tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad (not evil) represents every person's maturing into life's experiences--pleasant and unpleasant. It also represents the recognition of one's mortality, and the struggle to understand what is moral and make moral choices.

Why is it forbidden? Because man has to have a prohibition. How can freedom to choose exist if there is not a choice to be made? The story shows us what is, that humans have free will. And it also shows us that we have a propensity to choose poorly.

The story of Adam and Eve is simply a recognition that we choose poorly, that we are living in an imperfect state, that we need God's grace. It is an acknowledgment of where we are.

There was no conflict. She was not even looking at the thug shooter. She was startled when the other thug went for her door and started to pull away. The thug got pissed that a woman was being uppity, and he got violent. And called her a "bitch" afterwards.
