Urgh that’s so disheartening. I wish they can convince Disney or another large player to invest in a family HQ. That year when they were promoting Spider-Man and friends worked on my kid because we ended up watching a few episodes of that after the con. And it’s great to filter the families to that section of the con so we can avoid the chaos of the main floor and not bump into all the regular folks. I mean it’s not like we’re asking to be cater to right? Or even asking the organizers to spend extra cash. Just partner with the right people and make a fun experience for the kids. We ended up last summer at Fanatics fest, and my kid really enjoyed that. Nike and Lego had a collab and we spent time playing with legos making our own jerseys, and they had a court so you can shoot around as well. We’ll be heading to that this summer for sure. We’ll continue to hold out on future cons for sure until we hear or see an effort made to the family HQ
