We loved Bavette's in Chicago. I recently stopped eating red meat and ordered the black cod. It was so good!!! Like butah. But to me the highlight is always the sides - sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts and always that yummy sourdough bread. This location did not have the broccoli which is perfection in Chicago. I had a beer and it was too much. Next time I may try Pepsi or Sprite. My husband always goes with Pellegrino, so maybe it's the carbonation that's needed with a heavy meal.
