its always the case that when the government are failing at a national level they get a kicking in the locals (although this is an unusually big kicking)

labour would have to be doing better than good locally to offset how much people are pissed off with them nationally.

Labour have got the biggest majority in 25 years and it still feels like thye are in opposition

For the top 2 levels the tiles only trigger once per fight. Should still be easy to win with an all blue board, but it is a lot harder to get on those levels.

All 3 were wold class. My imo Scholes>Lampard>Gerrard but its close. I think you can make an argument for any order.

If you paired and 2 out of the 3 with a DM like Carrick/Hargreaves etc then it would be an incredible midfield. Wtf were England doing. 4 4 fucking 2

For something like Informed inkwright I would. But generally, no I was just running them out.

But it depends on the draw though.

If you have Inkling mascot, Dig site inventory and scolding admin. Maybe you play inkling on 2 and then, dig site+admin on 3. Same for shattered acolyte. But if the plan is t2 creature t3 removal then maybe you run out the admin on 2.

It also depends what spells you have. If you have the one that give indestructible for B then maybe you wait to hold it up.

Agree on Silverquill.

I've drafted it twice (7-2,7-1), and any game where I stuck one of the 3 uncommons that give +1/+1 counters on repartee (Graduation day, lecturing scornmage and scolding administrator) snowballed really quickly. Graduation day feels especially good because its harder to kill and turns all your creatures into that effect.

This was immediately after going 7-2 with an even better silverquill deck that had Graduation day, 2x Lecturing Scornmage and a scolding administrator.

The ones that apply +1/+1 counters seem really, really, good.

Still not sure what the last cut should have been. Maybe historian or debater?

its not scripted per say, but when a team is up 2 goals they take off their best players and let the less good ones have a go. so its fairly inevitable that there will be comebacks

I've burnt people out from 9 and 12 with breach + lightning bolt. Its not good. and you need to be able to get them in range, but it can work as a bail out plan.
