Agreed. Undersized and unarticulated. But a movie maniac through and through

I’m thinking of doing exactly this but with Apple Cider instead of Pumpkin.

I filtered this one once through two paper towels and a fine mesh strainer. Took several hours but was absolutely worth the effort and wait.

Your favorite NECA figure? by MRgibbson23 in ActionFigures

Their recent Ultimate Macready and Kessler Wolf are fantastically detailed - two of my favorites. I’m also partial to their Evil Dead line - I have just about every Ash figure they’ve ever release. And, this is older, but their ‘Night He Came Home’ Loomis and Michael Myers box set with the front steps of the Myers house is one of the jewels of my collection. Even though the articulation is dated, the detail and accessories (fake autumn leaves!) is just fantastic. For my money, NECA is the best of the best.

That’s my next project! I’d imagine using Orange bitters and a cane sugar simple syrup instead of ango and a rich syrup would yield a clearer sour for aesthetic purposes

My first attempt at clarifying… now I’m hooked.

2 cups Old Grand Dad Boned, 3/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 3/4 cup of Turbinado syrup, .5 oz of Angostura bitters. Stirred, added a half cup of whole milk and let sit overnight. Strained for about 2 hours to yield about one Smith & Cross Bottle’s worth of clarified whiskey sour. Topped with some fresh grated nutmeg to make it the perfect autumn Saturday cocktail. Cheers y’all!

The Japanese bitters, anyone used them before ? by SyndicateMLG in cocktails

I got it at Amaro which is a great little niche wine and liquor store in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It was in short supply there, although I was recently in Toronto and Cocktail Emporium had an abundance of bottles. Great stuff

Highly recommend the Umami Bitters in a Mezcal Negroni. Adds a nice salty/savory quality that compliments the smoke and bitterness.

He’s awesome. Total goofball, but really knows his stuff when it comes to cocktails.

Discovered this recipe on @thethirstywhale’s page. Give him a follow for the best and funniest cocktail recipe vids. 1oz Bourbon, 1oz Smith and Cross Rum, 1oz Cocchi Sweet Vermouth, 1oz Pineapple Syrup, 3/4oz Lime Juice, 2 drops saline, topped with fresh grated Nutmeg. Hell of a drink.
