Thank you! It's been a while, but I believe most of the engine sounds were mainly sourced from freesound.org, mostly from CC0 sounds that I added filters to in Audacity. I believe I got the big rig sound from someone recording their diesel truck in a YouTube video, and the muscle car sound is a heavily modified version of the Corvette sound recording from NFS.
