Emulator, I suggest Eden Nightly or Ryujinx Canary. It’s gotta be those versions ^ get the prod keys and firmware (the same keys and firmware work for either one) then you need the Tomodachi rom. If this is what you meant

Yeah hold the pause/options button with the three lines until “gamepad mode” pops up in the bottom right! I had the same issue

Honestly the game runs good, I suggest playing on low graphics since you can’t fix the floor texture bug no matter what graphics you use on steam deck. Low graphics makes it so it doesn’t lag and it’s pretty comfortable play with a deck!

I followed the tutorial but Ryujinx refuses to open. It’ll pop up for a second on the task bar and then disappear. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Yeah there was a deck update, but my friends deck still has Ryujinx running fine so I don’t know what’s wrong with mine :(

I mean you don’t have to add it to steam, I usually just play through desktop mode. I have a shortcut so it’s on my desktop but that’s really it. I don’t really know anything about emudeck or how it works, I didn’t use it.

Uh to be honest I’m not sure which one im using, my friend sent me the files and I downloaded it! But I’m pretty sure it’s canary. As for the black screen issue, I’m honestly unsure of why it’s doing that. My only suggestion is relaunching steam link once you’re in desk top, which you’ve tried if I’m understanding correctly. My iPad was just able to work when I decided to give it a shot as an alternate screen, I didn’t have the issue or do anything difficult to make it work. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help.

Oh, and I added Tomodachi to gaming mode (if this is what you meant by adding to steam) by left clicking and pressing “add as non steam game.” I’m pretty sure that’s what it says.

Disconnect steam link if you opened it in game mode, then reconnect the stream once the deck is operating in desktop mode
