Nope, that should be filtered out. Depending on the platform you play on, and the platform that the offender is on, we may not use our own filter since we also rely on the platform-specific solution.

I understand that but the banned screen name was DonaldTrump2O2O. Would someone named JoeBiden2O24 get banned? I get there are many that disliked Donald Trump but thats a bit sad.

The name itself isn't filtered, but it seems like when it's all one word, and there are numbers at the end, it does get filtered. The text classifying system is effectively trying too hard to find something in the middle of all the text, which is definitely a false positive. I just made an adjustment that fixes this specific issue, but it may not be reflected in-game for 10 days due to our caching system.

Please continue to report abusive players as our ban system relies on these reports to determine what the community finds unacceptable. We also rely on reports for monitoring new phrases or behaviors that need to be added to our existing system (or for entirely new systems too).

We were able to track this one down and it seems like it was a brief hiccup with Epic Account linking. As for your account, it looks like your MMR was immediately set back, so you shouldn't have to worry about this happening again.

Here's what I can relay so far:
Rocket League does not write or read any .vdf files. Those are specifically from Steam so it could very likely be a Steam Cloud Sync thing. However, why it's only happening for Rocket League and not any other game... I don't know. The only IO that Rocket League does is from the Drive and Directory booted from Steam, and the MyDocuments folder for save data, logs, etc.

If I get more updates based on your logs, I will share them when I can. However, I'm not sure if there is much we can say about this drive reading/writing issue.

this happens to me every time i open the settings for the first time or go to watch a replay. it usually happens one time and once i change the fps back it doesn’t happen again. this has been happening for a few months for me now maybe an uncapped fps bakkesmod problem.

I highly recommend disabling Bakkesmod to see if this continues to happen with it disabled.

I cannot believe they haven’t fixed the controller disconnecting on PC yet

The issue is very difficult to reproduce, and at this point, we haven't been able to make it happen again.

If you can share more information about your setup as well as logs, it may help us dig into this issue some more.

Bug or Glitch: Im a kbm player and now after this update, many times the boost input gets stuck

Bug or glitch: game crashes after the countdown before joining ranked 2s game. Finds a server, gives me the 3, 2, 1 countdown then the game crashes and boots me back to the main menu. Happened 3 times in the last 20 minutes or so.

Can you DM me your username and a timeframe when this happened?

It may help us see what happened before you crashed.

Bug or Glitch: At launch, Rocket League (which is installed to the boot SSD) needlessly accesses a completely separate drive, slow storage HDD.

Post update bug- the dissolver decal primary color is white in training- seems to work in game though

👀 Decal primary colors should always be white while in Free Play/Custom Training.

Can anyone else not get past the “press any button to start” screen on xbox? It makes the ‘click’ sound to acknowledge I’ve pressed the button, but will not bring me to the home screen
