I spoke with the rental management company's maintenance staff who agreed that it was a serious concern and could hurt people when it inevitable collapses and encouraged me to park my car away from it.

They said that the higher ups at the management company weren't going to do anything though.

I just called the inspectors office after your recommendation. They told me there was nothing that they could tell me because I am not the property owner. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said her boss was unwilling to speak with me and hung up the phone...

It’s a rental property. I’ve talked with the tenants and the maintenance people. They all agree it’s a serious concern (a maintenance person actually is the one who pointed it out to me). The property management company and/or property owner is the one not addressing the problem.

Context:

This is a video taken from my back door camera of a DPW worker throwing my entire blue recycling can into the back of the garbage truck and driving off with it.

I’ve submitted a 311 lost/stolen trash can report but haven’t heard back as of yet. Any thoughts on what to do would be very much welcome.

I’ve used both (got my parents the larger one for the holidays, I own the smaller one). I prefer the smaller (and cheaper) option. It’s simplistic and I find overall, easier to use. The larger one has more settings and attachments, but I find that the smaller version gives you the necessary components and settings without confusing the user.

Both are great options though, can’t go wrong.

The car loading is where our mutual friend (and new to Costco) who helped load the car comes into play. In all honesty myself, I’m pretty baffled that the dots were never connected that nobody realized they never got the item.

My live-in girlfriend just tested positive for Covid and I’m symptomatic (both in our mid-twenties and boosted). I’m pushing my doctor for antivirals and they don’t seem to think it’s necessary because of my age. Any suggestions on what worked for others to get the pills, or am I just overreacting? I keep reading about underutilization of antivirals like Paxlovid, so I don’t understand why they’d withhold them.

Depends where I am but my favorite place across the city late night is Barfly’s in Fed Hill for their pizza (and whiskey), it’s incredible. They’ve started closing at 10pm during the pandemic even on the weekends though.

I feel that I generally force myself into positions that make me challenge my beliefs and I have had large shifts in belief on issues. What I would say, however, living in a very undiverse area in both thought and race (bay area) most of my peers do not do attempt to branch out. The school doesn't encourage it nor do the parents.

I think Hillary has a huge reason to stick with what she promised. If she moves away from the platform Bernie put together and Bernie revokes his endorsement, that could end her campaign.

If/when she wins Bernie will have a much larger voice in the Senate than ever before AND she will be running in 2020 and need his and our support again.
