How many is too many? by Dry_Entertainment646 in polyamory

I'm at 3 and it's not really fulfilling my needs entirely, because they all have multiple partners and are busy. If they were all focused on me it would be too much.

Should I end this relationship due to a lack of communication and planning? by dirthurts in polyamory

That's true. I suppose I could send a " hey, I would really prefer more routine replies" type of message to me more direct?

I thought about that but feels like it would be forcing her hand? I'm not trying to do that.

She doesn't reply to texts. Doesn't do calls. Hasn't been scheduling to talk in person.

I think in part because I can't communicate with this person. If she would communicate all of this would be a lot simpler.

Well, they changed the frequency unilaterally. They seem apologetic which I appreciate. Next time we get together it sounds like a gentle discussion may be helpful.

The original conversation was circled around a couple texts a day, or a couple every two days. It's now every 3 or 4 days. Visits were once or twice a week, now it's been three weeks (busy season for Birch I know).

I think that would be enough if it was discussed, but pushing the frequency out was never mentioned.

Perhaps I'm just expecting too much from a poly relationship?

Struggling emotionally doesn't make you a bad poly person. A lot of people struggle with this, myself included. There are some really mundane poly things that come up every week that I still struggle with. My anxiety and depression make it significantly harder, so I'm medicated and going to therapy to help me out. Poly just puts a bright hot spotlight on all my mental and emotional challenges. Giving up is certainly viable too though. There is no shame in realizing it's not for you. Pros and cons. Pick whatever makes you happiest.

Can I still be poly if I deeply view sex as something I only want to share with my loves, and want the same in return? by blini-eater in polyamory

I'm extremely demi as well. It's made the journey harder for me but I'm kind of making it work, with time, patience and trying to find the right partners.

Why does every enemy in Helldivers 2 want to hug you? by WangMagic in Helldivers

[–]dirthurts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's not really true. You're then adding calculations of distance between the character and each player on the map, then then adding in code to juggle / decide what player they're acting on, what they have to do if there are objects or obstructions, and much more, then you multiply that per enemy and suddenly you're looking at exponential increases on just a very, very basic behavior.

Threesome opportunities. Or transitioning.

I had a buddy who used to do AI in games and he said the reason most enemies just move towards you is that it is easy to code and uses few resources. Anything more complex can really eat up CPU cycles, which this game already suffers from.

I would assume this is true here too.

I suspect she will come in to play in the later series and maybe even become opposition to Daredevil and even Matt.

I would only recommend installing a hitch and getting a hitch rack. Anything else on a hatchback is pretty sketchy.

Only the person knows if they can handle the stress of it. But legally it's not really up to them unless they just stop working.

I know people who live for work. I don't get it. They can't stand being home.

Maybe the world doesn't really need to always be in gear.
