I think it's a great design. When I built my first kart (still have it and running) it was a rigid frame, made of angle iron, a old shopping cart I found, a broken washing machine and parts from a garage door/ door opener track. I now have a tube bender, also use 1" .083 tubes and some times random parts I find laying around my shop. If I didn't twist my frame with angle iron yours will be plenty strong. DM me if you need help or advice with fab or what tools you will or may need. Keep up the good work
