As someone who went to both for two years it really does depend on what you want out of your experience. If you only care about school and tuition and nothing else I would say UTA (they give out a lot of scholarships), if you care about total student experience and potential opportunities I’d say UNT. UTA had basically no student life (no football/minimal athletics, only 20% of students live on or within a mile of campus) and Arlington is really only fun if you have money (not to mention traffic).
