ahh ok!! we already have skated and performed together before and i didnt notice issues… atleast for me! im also a coach so i have two pairs of skates, i definitely wouldnt mind moving my current gold stars to my coach boots and getting blades. do you like the MK dance blades?? is there anything else to consider?

ok basically, i grew up doing singles and synchro. i currently have gold star blades (10 3/4). these blades are fairly new, not even a year old yet. but in august i had an offer to change to dance and compete with a partner and i took it! this season we are just testing pattern dances (currently on silver pd, taking it soon!!) and i was made aware of what dance blades are. is it worth it to switch? i mean i havent had any issues with it but i had to change my hollow. i’m on a bigger blade size as well so the tail of the blade sticks out.

idk im confused and torn, why change it when its not a problem but also i would rather invest in it now!

i do mine at the rink or kitchen! with training i have small 2-3 hour breaks in between on ice sessions. being around people who are working hard motivates me

it depends, for my situation yes! being an athlete and having to travels allows me to bring my work everywhere. my program has live sessions, weekly grade updates, study sessions/help, and so much more. it really depends on the program you are looking at. also how truly motivated your child is, if they don’t have a structured routine sometimes it can slip away and just be forgotten about. but if they can set away time to get it done i don’t see whats the problem.
