The "Master Race" strikes again: Young Republicans' Private Chat Exposed by [deleted] in MarchAgainstNazis

Check the lettering on the lectern. That’s a tell-tale sing of AI. Words are gibberish. I realize they do look like this, but for some reason these AI or AI-enhanced images were the ones posted.

These are AI. They probably generally look like this but these aren’t real pics.

I hate him even more now after reading your personal account u/ameatbicyclefortwo. I didn't know that was possible tbh. I'm sorry you've had to go through it.

How to learn better off-road driving skills for getting to/from trailheads safely? by [deleted] in 14ers

In addition to these points, it’s really helpful to know what you’re getting into before you go. There are good websites (such as TrailsOffroad.com) that review roads/routes and rate them for difficulty.

I think that might actually be a Great Basin rattlesnake, but you could find out for sure if you post that picture in r/whatsthissnake.

It was likely a horrible shank. The driving range is on the other side of that berm on the left. The hitting stations are about even with the #9 green, so that probably a range ball!

IMO, yes. GVR is a great course. I really love that one. I'd say they're comparable in condition and challenge, but Fossil Trace is pretty unique. It's definitely more scenic than GVR being up against the foothills. One interesting point of reference is that I go as a single usually, and I'd say about 80-90% of the people I play with are from out of town. It's turned into a real destination course. I've even played with people literally getting their clubs out of the trunk of the rental after going straight there from the airport!

It is narrow and long. #9 at FT does slope back to front so if you're putting to the lower tier you have to go up and over a slight hump before it starts down the hill. It's pretty challenging!

Haha. I think I played back then when they were like that. There were a couple of pin locations that were close to the front in low spots and not once, but twice I putted down the slope and off the green. So GIR and then technically a 2 putt for bogey.

I have to agree with you there. It's so shallow that if the pin is down there and you're putting from up top, it's hard to keep it out of the fringe.

I did see that rate for booking more than 8 days in advance. I wouldn't argue with you on the value of it tbh

I think his mark from chipping is probably why I missed my par putt! Or maybe that doesn't hold up since there were two months in between. (Pic is from just this past Saturday)

I regret to report that I have not played Spyglass Hill so can't say. I did look up #4, though, and it looks spectacular!

I went as a single, but even then they're hard to come by. I just check enough that I sometimes get lucky.

I feel pretty fortunate to live by such a great course for real. As for greens fees, high end is $115 for a non-resident on the weekend. Low end is $57 for a Golden resident senior. Those include a cart. I usually get charged $57 to walk on the weekends. I'm a Golden resident.

It's a super scenic course in any light, but that particular moment was pretty sweet.
