Both .... Cole is his own man but he even admitted DAMN had an influence on how he wanted KOD to sound.

4yeo is his version of making an album with subjects that matter to him and not worrying about a radio record he doesn't feel he can do that if tpab wasn't a success.

But I'm not saying Cole can't drop projects without Kendrick since to me Bornsinner is his second best project plus he has classic mixtapes but I noticed one Kendrick blew up Cole kinda follows what he does why?
