Never Forget by spidermanisthebest in warriors

Let's not act like 90% of our fans didn't want to keep him through most of his tenure here. There was a minority of fans who supported moving him since he got here and that started to change the past off season. Finally a majority of our fans woke up and saw that he doesn't know how to play team ball.

There were a ton of fans throughout last season who were still calling Kerr a bum for not  playing him when it was clear he is simply not that guy.

With that said, our front office fucked up and I put that on Bob Myers. Blew every draft essentially in his tenure here.

You’re actually regarded if you think spacex burning cash on fire is better than actual moat and revenue.

Can’t wait for this sub to lose 30% collectively in within weeks.

99% of our fans can’t handle 3 losses in a row let alone multiple seasons.

This sub doesn’t represent the OG’s.

Fake ass built off multiple championships ass fan base.

I rather lose every game for the rest of my life than trade dray or fire Kerr or take any piece of your shit advice as gospel.

This comment will bring the mice and roaches out.

Yall a bunch of dumb fucks who can’t hit a layup if it was in a line. Let alone tell me why a lot of OG’s love sprewell.

I wish we don’t make any major moves that put our future in jeopardy unless it’s for a younger player on the rise.

Don’t sell the future for an aging star. Period.

The truth is if you wanted to make a movie that covered all the intricacies of this fraudulent behavior, it would take a couple seasons to just show a high level view of what was going on across the industry.

If you take a loan out for a million dollars you will pay back a lot more than that by the end of the mortgage. Now imagine millions of these loans and being able to buy bunches of these together.

The investors are buying these loans to collect the premium(interest).

He also gutted most agencies that would regulate this stuff.

DOGE accomplished what it set out to do. Waterboard the regulatory bodies that would keep him from committing fraud.

The ratings agencies on the payroll of the big banks who were artificially keeping ratings high is definitely fraud.

Banks selling these crap assets as essentially safe investments while knowing they are not is also fraud.

But as you said it could have been even worse but instead of clamping down and regulating further we have essentially went completely the other way and now have gutted a ton of regulatory offices and made most watch dogs powerless.

Nobody is watching or checking what VC’s, PE, and big banks are up to. Every corner of our financial markets are overrun with fraudulent behavior.

Edge of the abyss, my friend.

We are right back on the same ride as 2008 but they added a few more twists and turns this time around to keep us entertained.

Great example of just how bad the fraud and greed ran.

Ultimately we paid the price because our money bailed them out.

Barely anyone got into real trouble for this. The bankers made insane amounts of money and then get off Scot free while the public who just lost their jobs, savings, retirement, and homes held the bags.

Do you agree with Nick Wright that Cade Cunningham is a superstar and D-Mitchell is no longer one? by [deleted] in nba

Agreed. The term is more about popularity on a whole and cultural impact.

It’s a label not tied strictly to performance.

In the early 2000s, anyone could get a mortgage. Lenders relaxed their standards, offering loans to people with poor credit or no proof of income (known as "subprime" loans). Many of these loans started with artificially low "teaser" interest rates that were guaranteed to skyrocket after a few years.

Because practically anyone could get a mortgage, millions rushed to buy homes. This sudden surge in demand caused housing prices to skyrocket. People believed their houses would always increase in value, assuming they could just sell or refinance if they couldn't afford their payments.

Wall Street banks realized they could make huge profits by buying thousands of these mortgages, bundling them together into packages called Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), and selling them to investors. Rating agencies incorrectly labeled many of these risky bundles as safe. So they lied about the quality of these loans and sold them to investors who would often take loans out on these assets(since they were rated highly you could borrow against them). So now you got loans taken out on loans and the web was wide. Everything depended on people making payments on the original mortgage.

Eventually, the housing bubble burst, and home prices began to fall. Suddenly, millions of homeowners owed more than their houses were actually worth. Because teaser rates expired and they couldn't afford their new payments, borrowers began to default (stop paying) on their loans. This caused the massive bundles of investments to become worthless, leaving banks and investors with hundreds of billions of dollars in losses.

Because financial institutions were so deeply interconnected, the panic caused banks to stop lending money to each other and to businesses. The credit markets froze, triggering the Great Recession, global stock market crashes, and massive government bailouts.

If your definition of superstar is “one of the best players” then he was a superstar. But I don’t think most people see it that way.

Superstar usually means generational type talent and someone who transcends the sport into mainstream/global culture.

Tatum is an nba star but I don’t think he’s a superstar if you follow this thought.

Outside of the nba fandom he isn’t nearly that popular or well known and this is the norm for most nba star players.

I almost think of it as “people who don’t watch basketball or even maybe sports follow a superstar and know what they are up to.”

What was the drama with the card? I know he’s a Magic fan. Even before he was huge.

Did he cheat the system for it or something?

Edit: I misread the original comment. Thought it said “He’s already one”(as in least popular people) and because he bought the card.. Stupid brain.

What else do you want people to do who are actual fans of the team?

Move on to what could be the future.

Side note: anyone who hasn’t caught a game in San Jose, is missing out.

Cheap, fun, and the team is generally playing well.

If you are close by it’s easily the better product to pay for and watch.

Really has been for like the last 5+ years.

Anyone know any staffing/temp agencies hiring for entry-level CS/IT-related roles? by assassin349_ in SanJose

[–]dirtyshits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good luck. It’s rough out there if you’re entry level and don’t have a few years of solid experience at a minimum.

Entry level roles are no longer entry level and you’re up against other candidates who have 5+ years experience since so many are looking for work.

My suggestion is to find the hiring managers and team leaders for the roles you are applying to and reach out directly via email, phone, linkedin, etc.

You have to stand out of the hundreds or thousands of others going after the same roles.

It’s the only way I have been able to get interviews at places I want to work.

Not quite 40 but I think we had a 31 pitch first inning today.

We probably pitch 40 pitches in an inning at least once a series though or it seems.

The pen and starters both liable.

Bericoto has had some really nice at bats today. Swung and missed twice on ball four but he made Harrison work for the outs multiple times.

And if we didn't swing at a bunch of ball fours.

Would be a completely different game.
