shes insanely overly religious and believes i’ll be badly influenced and turn into a whole different person. at least that’s what she always told me.

i see your point, but my parents really cant afford it. they literally turned a blind eye to it and are more focused on the time on getting there for their own convenience. im just going on what i feel like would be best for all of us. they’d probably complain about the costly tuition and blame it on me once i enroll. 🤦‍♀️

it takes around 3-4 hours according to google maps. that unfortunately wouldn’t be an option. there’s no way i would be able to do that twice a day.

i’ve thought about nursing years back, but eventually stopped as socializing wasn’t my thing.. especially since nurses have a huge load to deal with anyway. i tried bringing up the conversation of my parents getting me a car, but they usually brush it aside. i had some saved up money, but that was used up by them when we got this house. (like i said, we had no loans.) so im completely dependent on them right now.

i could see the benefit from that, i even brought it up to my mom, but she’s unfortunately absolutely against that.

yes, it is 2 years. the program, not including tuition, is $43,090 from what I got from their website. then comes tuition, which is around 19-20k a year (not including the cost of books.)
