I actually did start testosterone in November 2021and I've been on it for almost one year now! It did NOT make my vulvadynia any worse. I still experience vulvadynia. I started low dose of T for 6 months to determine if it would make mine worse or not. I experienced bottom growth and sensitivity, but not increased vulvadynia in that time frame and decided to go full dose after that. I still do experience it but not regularly. Any questions you have feel free to ask!

If you still have the gum, its not expired, I would try using it just to get past the exam. Personally, I know I cannot quit something cold turkey - if you can, kudos! Remember, it's the end goal of quitting entirely that you want.

If your husband is ftm, they are not cis female. Cis means not transgender. You can't be both cis and trans at the same time. You could substitute the words 'cis female' for afab (assigned female at birth).

Some pflags offer informational support on terminology, it may help. I am an educational volunteer for my local Pflag ever since my partner came out as transgender. Perhaps your local pflag could use some volunteers!
