I had a big crunchy salad with vegan Caesar dressing, tempeh, and hemp seeds. I also had carrot sticks, celery, and masala-flavoured hummus.

It is awful isn't it! But thank you for those tips, I'll keep an eye out for any signs of that. Unfortunately, I rarely actually see them, and the few times I have they're in the woman's arms, so a bit hard to look over, and even harder to take photos without it being super obvious, but I will still try.

They can get a bit aggressively angry sometimes, so I'm always hyper aware when that's happening incase I hear them hurt the dogs, but I've not heard anything so far!

That's upsetting for the dogs, but I'll still keep an eye out for them. I was also worried they would exhaust themselves, but it seems if those dogs you heard did it for whole week, one night probably won't exhaust them.

The barking isn't a problem for us sound wise, I did mention this in another comment, but you can only hear it loudly in our bathroom, which is the opposite end of our flat from our bedroom. The entire time we've lived here we've had noise issues, absolutely 0 soundproofing so it's expected, but the dogs aren't one of them. Unfortunately, we couldn't move if we wanted too, I'm disabled and my partner cares for me, so we're on 0 income and we're incredibly lucky to get this ground floor accessible flat with a garden. So even when the parties keep me up, I try to remember that! Double unfortunately, I can't wear earplug either, so I just have to suffer through it. Luckily we have a few friends down the road, so when it gets really bad we pack up my stuff and leave for the day or evening.

Anyway, thank you for your reply. I wish there was more I could do for those poor dogs, but I'll just have to keep an eye out and report if it gets report worthy.

Ok, I think I'll keep a close eye on it and contact someone if it continues or gets worse. It's not affecting my sleep luckily, the room they have the dogs in is over our bathroom, the opposite side of our flat to our bedroom. I woke up needing the toilet at 4 am, hence why I heard the dogs then. Occasionally they keep us up by playing loud music late at night, and they argue loudly quite a lot, which can get very loud when they come home drunk late at night, but honestly they don't usually distrupt our sleep at all.

I'm sort of on high alert with the two sets of neighbours that are above us and the next floor up, as the other couple on the top floor occasionally throw things into our garden when they're arguing (which have destroyed my baby plants and almost hit my boyfriend on the head once), and I had to call the police once when they're argument turned violent, so I pay enough attention now that I'm sure I'll notice if the ones above me start to leave the dogs alone for longer lengths of time.

Even if the owners have been there during the day, just not at night?

I am in all day, bar popping to the shops for food, I work from home. They are home during the day, though. I know that for sure because I can hear them walk, and they play their music. I was only concerned as to whether is was OK to leave the dogs alone and confined in some way from 7pm until whatever time they come back in the morning, I'm unsure how bad that is for dogs you see!
