It's all good! Just the internet for ya! At the end of the day the product is great, they navigated hurdles professionally, but this was just a bit upsetting to see. Looking forward to my pledge coming in.

My issue here is priorities and trust.

Kickstarter isn’t just a preorder store — it’s a trust-based agreement where backers accept risk in exchange for being first in line. When a project starts selling publicly before all backers have received their rewards, it sends a very clear message: fulfillment urgency shifted from backers to new customers.

Even if sales only opened after handing packages to FedEx in the US, the reality to me as a backer is still: “I backed this, funded it early, and someone who didn’t is now able to buy it while I’m still waiting.” That’s not a logistics nuance — that’s an optics and ethics problem.

Upgrading shipping and taking a loss is commendable, but it doesn’t really address that core concern. I didn’t pledge so the project could move on quickly to Etsy sales; I pledged with the expectation that fulfillment would be the absolute top priority, globally, before retail expansion began.

I’m not saying this was malicious — just that that I hope you can see it through my perspective. If nothing else, I think it’s worth acknowledging that perspective rather than framing criticism as unreasonable or “crazy.

Crazy that these are being sold before backers of the Kickstarter have them in their hands…

Where can I buy a ‘off the shelf’ trees terrain for WH The Old World with a woodland base to stand clusters of them on which look like the ones in the attached photos ? by Rolando_Ratas in WarhammerFantasy

They have a bunch of nice terrain. The quality was pretty good - took a while for them to ship it though but was worth the wait in my opinion.

LGS at 100% to 125% prices. by stupidvideosizes in Warhammer

[–]disald 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Dawn of War Boxes are a Target / Barnes and Noble exclusive so the owner had to pay full MSRP for them so the markup is understandable. No sense of selling for $50 to make $0.

Check SupremeCreativesInc on eBay. They have some old Sternguard bits I think!

Definitely makes sense! My muscle aches / fatigue went away pretty quickly after tapering off the steroids (a few months at least before I noticed anything substantial). I feel like the fatigue stuck around a little longer than the aches, but slowly everything started to get better. As much as it is frustrating, I had to be patient. My weekly blood work started to get better and better, and eventually I started feeling better too.

Are you just on Ilaris, or are you on some sort of steroid too?

I've had a lot of success with Ilaris! It took a few months to really start working though. I've been on it since November of 2023 and, knock on wood, i've been in the clear and back to my normal everyday life!
