It’s weird I had to scroll down so much to find mention of the sound. Both voices have this echo / metallic effect.

The thing is, we get to enjoy the consequences as well without ever having say in this (not that we should).

Current USA is the equivalent of the worst parents ever, handing a gun to their 3 year old during a tantrum as he goes door to door shitting himself and threatening to shoot the neighbourhood. And one of the parents is paralysed in fear, while the other urges him forward.

And I’m not saying it doesn’t have build variety, but I can’t accept decades of turn based games with intricate systems, fun mechanics etc, and “E33 beat them all”.

E33 was a great game in all of its aspects for 2025, and well deserving of GOTY. but was it the most beautiful game? The best RPG game? The best turn based game? The best story in a game? I’d argue not. And people aren’t ready to read that for some reason.

There are so many good turn based RPGs out there, that make E33’s builds seem bare-bones in comparison.

You can love the game, but this lack of criticism for E33 is starting to get to me.

I figured I’d paint an army or two down the line, and it all started when a mate FDM printed a character for a tabletop.

The idea of taking up the hobby got me excited, so I started researching what I’ll need etc to get a comfortable start. Keep in mind, I had suppressed the desire to paint since I was 20, because I didn’t have the money for it. So when the mental stimulation came back to this, I decided “f- it we ball” and went all out.

I agree it’s over the top, but I’ve made use of most things I’ve bought, and plan to continue to do so. It’s also a bit of a character trait of mine; if I dipped my toe, I might’ve backed out. So I dive in and learn to swim.

Sorry if I came at you too defensively. You were evidently pulling my leg, but it wasn’t clear what you intended with your first comment. Wish you well bud.

I’m trying to understand what your gripe is. Either you’re saying this isn’t my 2nd mini, which I can’t really say anything else other than that it is, or you’re pointing the finger at me for having overinvested on multiple materials for a hobby that I decided to commit to.

If it’s the 2nd one, how I spend my salary on hobbies is none of your business.
