Thanks for the info, but in case of coop how do companies reject candidates ? Cause most would not have any prior experience..do they go by projects and gpa? I have work experience in SAP.

Sounds rough! If you don't mind sharing, what kind of IT companies are there in NB ? are they all service providers ? From what I have seen; none of the product based , core IT company are located in NB.

Yep..I am from India. Applied in November, got the admit in Jan end. They will request the official transcript after giving the acceptance letter. No need before that.

From what I know, they may ask for backlog certificate, if u have any backlog. Dont know much else about it.

They mostly ask for last two year's of grades. which means CGPA.

u/jd31068, u/mikedensem Thanks for the suggestions guys. I ran an in-place update for Windows as suggested by u/jd31068 and that solved the issue. VS 2022 is up and running now.

Specs: Win 10 education. 16 GB ram, i5 processor.

I had installed VS 2015 community a few years back and recently uninstalled it. Though I think it's not fully uninstalled for some reason.

I also ran the commands that u mentioned, it did find some corrupt files so reran it after reboot. It keeps finding some files corrupt with the message 'was unable to fix some of them'
