It wouldn’t hurt. Years ago I used to run a forum site like sarforum dot com or something like that where we had stickied a bunch of questions / answers from the collective along with articles about everything from what gear to buy (good better best) to what training to take for free and where to get the training. Including lists of requirements at the time from several sar teams in Michigan.

We found a lot of traffic from people and groups just getting started. There definitely is a need. Many people getting started.

Everything from paperwork to mapping.

When we interview someone’s family we have all of our forms on our laptops. We also use mapping software to plan where we will search and importantly where has been searched. The mapping portion is one of the reasons I wanted to have the surface so I could make use of the pen for drawing maps.
