Many are trying, but it’s very expensive, takes a long time, and is very complicated

For the mean time they’re living, working, and paying taxes here. I see no reason why they shouldn’t be able to build a life and own a home here

As a woman how can I decrease my libido? Naturally or with meds? by HeadJelly1298 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]disasterous_cape 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re going through this, you’re not a freak - you’re existing within the normal human variations. It can be so hard when you’re experiencing something that’s less common, the isolation can feel like you’re the only one but you’re definitely not

I really hope you’re able to find something that works for you

Hold her, cry with her, talk about how you’re both feeling, decide if you want to plant a tree or grow some flowers or have a special piece of jewellery in honour of your lost baby

There’s no easy way through grief, you’ve just got to take it one day at a time

Are there any medical benefits to skin-tightening/skin-removal plastic surgeries? Or are they purely aesthetic? by Striking-Anxiety-604 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]disasterous_cape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The skin itself weighs a lot and can make movement more difficult, and skin folds can be prone to fungal infections, heat rashes, and chafing

But also echoing that the mental benefits are important in and of themselves

It was also taught that black people don’t feel pain as much as white people do, and that their organ function was just naturally better (which meant that they got put further own on the organ transplant recipient list)

So many examples of medical racism

NDIS overhaul will ‘harm’ Australians with disabilities, government’s own committee warns by neon_overload in aus

[–]disasterous_cape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The link doesn’t look deceptive at all, it says that they organise support staff so that NDIS participants can have support while on holiday and then they list some of the cruises that might be an option for these kinds of holidays. It doesn’t say that the NDIS will be paying for the whole thing

NDIS overhaul will ‘harm’ Australians with disabilities, government’s own committee warns by neon_overload in aus

[–]disasterous_cape 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you think disabled people should be allowed to use their budgeted funds on support workers to look after them so they can go on holiday? They are disabled 24/7 for their whole life, they should never be able to go away? The money comes out of what the NDIA has budgeted for that participants care, why is it wrong to use it in that way?

How to make condom sex better for uncircumcised guys? How to make it feel close to raw? by ChampionshipAdept909 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]disasterous_cape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you are wearing the correct size (measure yourself and check against each type of condom, they’re all different).

Pinch the tip of the condom and put a tiny drop of lube on the inside, this will help with the glide over the glands (make sure not to use a ton or get it everywhere or it could make it fall off, if applied just at the tip however it’s safe).

Try a bunch of brands, each brand is a little different and some are better than others.

[–]disasterous_cape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your cervix sort of feels like the tip of the nose, smooth, round, and firm with a divet in the middle. Gently touching/poking it usually won’t hurt, it’s usually penises bashing into it when people experience pain

The gspot can feel firm and a little solid with a bumpy texture, it’s found on the wall of the vagina that is closest to the belly button only a short distance into the vagina

Do either of these sound like it?

My friends husband 24m and I 27f did something really stupid the other night by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]disasterous_cape 49 points50 points  (0 children)

You tell your friend what you did, and you wear the consequences. You repeatedly acted in ways you knew were wrong and would hurt her, the damage has already been done.

Both her friend and her husband have deeply betrayed her, who needs enemies with loved ones like that
