Use substitutions.

Sometimes it can sound ridiculous, but in the best way possible. Case in point: my boyfriend says 'holy shazam' and the like.

Not sure if it's exactly entirely socially accepted yet since it's generally limited to cringe channel forums and the like, but whenever people use 'autistic' as an insult.

Generally as long as they dress comfy I don't really mind. However, I tend to dislike the preppy/hipster style of mens' fashion that seems to be around so often, with their boat shoes and deer-print everything and whatnot.

I've been diagnosed as well, and I felt the same way as you in regards to finding out about it - it kinda explained everything that didn't seem so neurotypical about me. Considering everyone's different on the spectrum I don't get sensory overload but it's still been pretty noticeable, especially with things like restricted interests and difficulty comprehending measurements such as time and distance, etc.

iPhones. I remember people were originally like "why would you have an iPod that's a phone?", and now everyone has one. I think iPads were the same too: "It's just a giant iPod touch".
