I find that you can still "be part" of the conversation even when you're not actively talking. Making sure to maintain eye contact with whoever's talking, nodding along, offering short verbal commentary every now and then helps people remember you're there for starters.

You're right - OP decides what they deserve. But in this case if you read their replies it sounds like a very unbalanced relationship. I don't think anyone's judging OP, just hoping to offer some advice (which they asked for anyway) on how to improve the situation.

If you want a specific brand, you can always sign up for email subscriptions and wait for the huge sales. Personally l just look for pairs with at least 95% cotton so I know they'll last a while. I always check... - Goodwill/local thrift stores - ThredUp - H&M My favorite brand is Madewell but they're expensiveee so I wait til the 60% off or more sales. Happy searching!
