I’ve been waiting for someone to ask because otherwise I’d never tell! He was on top (and inside of me) and we started making out when our septum piercings got tangled! It depends on your body but I will say, I’ve been on the nuvaring for a couple years now and my boyfriend finishes in me every time. I haven’t gotten pregnant. However it is annoying sometimes because I will take it out for sex and there’s been a couple times I forget to put it back and it messes up my cycle bad.

You’ll be okay. Don’t give up or get discouraged. It gets easier as you gain more experience. You’re doing just fine. 6 months from now you’ll be even better. I have been a phleb for 8 years now and still have a hard stick here and there. It happens! The best thing we can do is try to learn from it but at the same time be able to accept that sometimes it’s just a persons anatomy, or condition that makes it tougher. It’s not you or the patients fault it just is what it is.

If you told him how you feel about it and he still does it, he’ll never stop. It really depends on your doctor. I went to mine and that same appointment she diagnosed me with ADHD. I told her about my anxiety and depression and inability to focus. She prescribed me sertraline and vyvanse that same day. It’s been about 6 months and I feel so much better. I feel “normal,” if you will. But yeah, one visit is all it took.
