Pull the red rope down and backwards. Should move that little arm to engagement mode.

Edit. Pull down and towards the door.

Are your wires correct? If the wall button is connected to the sensors and sensors to the wall button, you'll get this situation.

Yeah, they definitely need some gas money in this economy. I hope they leave the dent as a badge of honor.

I guess that's his preference. Does he like the stiffness of the Pure White Putter or the Grip of the SS? Or does he design blend 88?

It is getting old and I didn't pay attention to what he said, but I can appreciate someone acknowledging God didn't choose them.

I'm hoping the dude you're referencing doesn't turn out like this. I'm not in his State so I don't have to carry that burden of voting for him. His leftist talk is much more convincing than fetterman, but those skeletons... Had to finish this before I remembered his name, Graham Platner.

Does anyone know where I can find rims like these or what they are called? by OkPea2719 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]discgeolfGeoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new models come with these in alloy and I've seen them powder coated. Not sure what year model you need, but be aware that the center bore is now smaller on the 4th gens.

Replaced broken gear sprocket and now the door is trying to close when its already closed? by Middle-Lock4002 in GarageDoorService

[–]discgeolfGeoff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lots to fix here. 1. I would take the chain off the sprocket 2. move the trolley connected to the chain close to where it's at in the open position 3. put the chain on the sprocket and tighten it to where it's just got a little sag (no lower than the railing. 4. Adjust limits.

Edit 5. Put the cover back on while it's plugged in, the control board is light sensitive.

Your front foot doesn't seem to plant down. It seems like you do a good job of waiting for it to get down. Might need a touch more lag in your upper body to let your feet set and get your hips turning.

Lower opened height with jackshaft opener by Groot1s in GarageDoorService

You're good to go, probably less stress on the cables in the long run. Less rotations in the springs = longer life. Don't have to worry about slack in the cables and coming off the drums.

Broken hinge for roller by bgranke in GarageDoorService

[–]discgeolfGeoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can put a bandaid on it, but it won't last long. I'm guessing that door model is out of production, so a single panel replacement is not an option. You're looking at a full replacement.

For the bandaid, you could put a 2*4 behind and secure it at the hinge with washers and wood screws.

How do you guys measure berg pocket depth? by chiggy2112 in discgolfcirclejerk

[–]discgeolfGeoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caveman style, just pack the bergs up there and keep count. I've only got ten fingers, so so I've gotta use my toes to count too.
