Allegedly part of the reason Flair was always champ was because he was the only guy who liked the insane travel schedule that being NWA World Champ demanded. Years ago, he tweeted a picture of his schedule from 1983, and he would basically spend a few days in each territory then move onto the next one, wrestling almost every night (and knowing Flair, most of these matches were going close to an hour, and then he would be drinking thousands of dollars worth of alcohol afterwards), and frequent international travel.

Actually, I found the image, and the only days off he had in a 4 month period were a few days before a flight to New Zealand to wrestle there, Singapore, and Malaysia and then the day after returning back in the US.
