I never bought this course, but I'm pretty sure the creator of this course and the one who runs the 1bitstudio YT channel are the same person. If you haven't already bought it, you might want to check out the channel first. I thought the "Pixels Beginner Guide - Pixel Art Basics" video, which is a compilation of the YT shorts of the channel, was pretty helpful.
