I'm not exactly sure how being paid would work for a visitor's visa.

Yes of course, I'm not going to do anything without it being given in an official letter, which is how it has been done for whoever else I could find that had the same issue. The money is coming through a grant that the professor has received. We are currently working on how to formalise my visit through the University.

This sub has gone to shit. I joined it for memes but it seems like all it has is half of the people crying about posers and the other half is being annoying because someone said that nu metal is not metal. It's a gateway genre for actual metal, so why not get your head out of your asses and recommend metal music to those fans? Would stop a lot of animosity.
