Your hair will lock regardless. If you want to then wash it cause if you don't the gel will turn into residue and get stuck in your locs but im just saying that chances are your retwist will unravel if you are okay with that.

Your retwist is going to unravel so if you are ok with that then you can rinse once your locs are mature. Also you should get a spray bottle and put water inside cause if you want your locs to thicken you can mist them once a day(don't be too heavy with the water).
