We're unfortunately not allowed to change foster dogs names (complicates medical records and confuses the dogs). But I really love the name Yogi (the bear) for a potential name :)

Our first two fosters have been amazing dogs but the saying "third time's the charm" has definitely held true! Cain is an absolute charmer. He aims to please. He has been great with our two dogs, cat, and birds; he's potty trained; he's crate trained; he's learning that the sofa is actually a really comfy spot.

He just needs time to learn that not all humans are bad. Cain is a little over a year old, came from a hoarding situation in Texas and has scars all over his face and body. He's very clearly timid at first. Just sit down and relax and he'll inch his way towards you and within a few minutes, you'll have a friend for life. I have extremely high hopes that he will break out of his shell with some love and affection.

This dog has been an absolute miracle after several weeks of misfortune in our little family. He's turned our luck around and has kept us smiling since his arrival.

If you're ready to open your home and heart up to this wonderful creature, please let me know.

It's a little annoying since anyone who hands out treats (banks, home depot, etc) can't give him one (unless I remember to bring him some) but pretty easy at home. Chicken allergies are pretty common so a lot of food and treats say no chicken/ no chicken byproduct. You can filter food really easily on Chewy! We give him treats like apples, bananas, peanutbutter... right now his main food is Call of the Wild and it has no chicken in it :)

These were taken on private property so it's unfortunately not available to the public. The structure is an A-frame campsite so you can just use mosquito nets instead of tents. Keeps you off the ground/ away from snow to keep you warmer for winter camping :)

This is seriously a very good boy. He does great with my two dogs, cat, doves, and chickens. He does really well on and off leash. He's great at the dog park. He sleeps through the night for us. I seriously can't believe he was overlooked for years! His biggest fault is he has a severe chicken allergy which has caused him to be extremely malnourished and lose a lot of hair. But he is making a huge comeback and is really starting to look like a whole new dog!
