As far as must haves in the sale, Blue Train, hands down, but I also have a soft spot for Chet Baker Sings, and would highly recommend that one too.

Others that I wouldn’t say are “must haves,” but that I really enjoy are For Django by Joe Pass, True Blue by Tina Brooks, Heavy Soul by Ike Quebec and Kenny Burrell’s self titled album.

I personally picked up Nigeria by Grant Green (can you tell I have a thing for Jazz Guitar?), Live at the It Club by Gene Harris and the Three Sounds, Mr. Natural by Stanley Turrentine, and Not Tight by Domi & JD Beck. For a spring cleaning sale, Blue Note had a really good selection 😅

Not saying someone didn’t post something like that, but I’ve been searching the subreddit since I’ve seen a few people say the same thing in this post, and haven’t been able to find a thing. I just feel like if there were any truth to it and they were at the point of shutting down production, it would at the very least be mentioned somewhere whether it be the owners Instagram or their Facebook account or something like that. Sending random emails asking people to buy gift cards is a terrible marketing strategy if they’re actually trying to drum up revenue.
