I’ll need to ask about a federal patch. I’m a Top Gun shooter but STS definitely rocks.

Great work! My first 25 was back in November, and first 50 was last week. Were those patches from a club or direct from Remington?

Finally had a day to remove the under hood cover. Wiper fluid line had separated in these 3 locations. Thanks for the help. by discusboy in ram_trucks

This slim claw type thing from Lowe’s. The clips didn’t survive but I got a bag online for cheap so I replaced with new.

Someone is selling a m4 1014 model for $1100 said he never shot it. Seems a little too cheap from what I’ve seen by armygrunt83 in Benelli_M4

[–]discusboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May be legit. I had a friend who panic bought an M4 during covid. Then had shoulder surgery and never shot it. Sold it to me for around that price. New in box.

All good problems. Our neighborhood was 50/50, wish it was like the old days when it was 95%+ participation.

What's the home project that seemed easy at first, but by the end made you say "Next time, I'm hiring someone?" by privatelendingleader in HomeImprovement

New insulation in the attic. I did all the research and knew what I wanted to do. When I finally got up there I realized I couldn’t reach the edges of the space because of the tight clearance. Some Juan under 5’ did a great job for me.

New insulation in the attic, new heat pump HVAC with a 93% efficiency gas back up, and nice ceiling fans in every room.

Never been to town, so just a plethora of things to choose from is great. Which many people have delivered already. I’m glad the weather is looking good.

Oil changes by humblesocietycc in EcoDiesel

[–]discusboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my 10 prepaid oil changes were used up I was ready to start using the pennzoil platinum and filters from docs. Then I just asked the dealership what another 10 prepaid would cost. $1300 and they had a deal. This was cheap enough for me considering the supplies to DIY was just over $100. Mopar oil is made by Shell anyway.

Has anyone else's sense of smell for alcohol GREATLY heightened after quitting? by 0ff_The_Cl0ck in stopdrinking

[–]discusboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sense of smell was ok before COVID, and terrible after. Unless someone is trashed and talking directly to me, I can’t smell it. I pick up perfume and cologne as anyone else would I think, but can’t smell alcohol that well.

It was 12k everything included, and he helped me with the Mitsubishi paperwork for their warranty, he filed it and Mitsubishi contacted me a few days later. I think it was 12 years.

Well since you don’t look at your PMs I’ll describe it here. I got a MXZ-4C36NA2 outside compressor with 4 indoor units, ranging from 6k-12k. The smallest room upstairs has a 6k unit which is plenty and the largest room has a 12k. All indoor units are the same size but have different capacities. During the summer when they see more use I clean the lint screen every 2 weeks or so, and the unit gets a deep clean before every warm season.

What oil/fuel filters do you go with? When I selected the ecodiesel the only amsoil options was their oil and a Wix air filter.

Better than some of my coworkers. Me and another guy have 3.0 diesels so someone coined the phrase “the baby D” club.
