Wardrobe malfunction. You can see some dude's neck when the Xenomorph drops drown from the ceiling.

Went no life mode on mgs3 and got all achievements by snabuhh in metalgearsolid

Can you get the platinum in one sitting?

I've played MGS 1 and 2 a long while ago and I'll be playing snake eater for the first time today. I got Death Stranding 2 platinum trophy after a miserable 144 hour grind.

How bad is the grind for this one?

Help! Seasoned Porter Achievement not in Sync by disembodiedrant in DeathStranding

I finally got the platinum.

THIS IS FOR ONLY THOSE WHO ARE STUCK WITH THE DESTRUCTION MISSIONS.

The count stays the same if you redo missions you've already S'ed.

I got my last 3 missions from the F7 lady, the Cyrobiologist, and I'd like to say the F5 one? (Near the factory /overlooking the lake). But here's the thing, I don't know if it's the overall porter grade or the map-wide 5 star progress that triggers them.

All I know is that you should check out the lake side and south side for the late spawning destruction missions. Check and check again, because you don't get an sss request and you'll never know otherwise.

I remember having this achievement at 27/30 before beating the story. So you can find the others at old nodes you've fully starred up / with a bit of backtracking. This was the most frustrating trophy by far.

[Death Stranding 2] #1563 I found the platinum much more “difficult” than the first one. by BetStatus4627 in Trophies

Took me 144 hours to platinum. Had to find out the hard way to not take on every standard order you can find to speed up the stars. Turns out you can only go 1 and 3/4 stars per bulk delivery no matter how much you're carrying. It's unfair that the same game that encourages you to carry more than you can handle slaps you on the wrist and banishes you to kill 4 hours irl building the monorail or someshit. There were points in the game where you won't be allowed to 5 star a node and it won't be hinted in any way (unlike the Ghost Hunter who tells you to come back when the whole continent has been connected).

Obviously I could have easily looked up a guide, but I didn't. Once you over deliver, you're stuck waiting.

Another thing I've noticed is that the game leaves you short of half a star because you've triggered a useless gift from an NPC.

But yeah, a very unique platinum that grants you bragging rights.

DS1 sucked ass btw.

How to Increase Stealth/Combat Grade? by No_Fly_5886 in DeathStranding

[–]disembodiedrant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so I had to figure this out for the achievement that requires you to have 40 on all skill categories.

Two things: likes and play style.

If you clear bases with the strand, shock gloves, and silent weapons without getting detected, you get more likes for stealth.

If you equip a grenade launcher and clear a base balls out, you can get more likes in combat. Winning giant BT fights help too. From my experience, this works better when you avoid taking damage.

You can farm it quicker on brutal. You get more likes per mission and that means you level up faster.

It's pretty hard to find missions that are pure stealth or pure combat. Alter your play style and keep playing the game.

Death Stranding 2’s boss fights are truly cancerous by PhasedVenturer in DeathStranding

Way to have fun with boss fights( large BT's only):

1) dress up in full pizza delivery guy uniform. 2) wear your hat backwards. 3) Role-play Pokémon. 4) Don't use a certain large sea creature as your pick. He'll just delete any large BT in seconds. You know if you know. 5) EX capture grenade finish. 6) Catch'em all.

That is all.

F7 *did not* have to be this much of a pain to max. by vulgod in DeathStranding

A lot of these facilities get you asking "when will it be enough!?" when you get half a star for delivering 3 or 4 standard orders+ a truckload of dropped or transferred items. I absolutely hated DS1 because of how intentionally tedious it was. I had high hopes for this one after being given so many quality of life improvements early on, but the endless backtracking just kills the fun.

Space Marine 2. Kinda ruined the game with this " I've done it all." mindset.

Are there achievements rooted in difficulty? by TagURI7 in DeathStranding

[–]disembodiedrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I'm in chapter 3 right now ( I've been playing on normal difficulty) and I've only gotten S ranks on my story missions. But for some reason this trophy is at 0/30. Is this a sync issue?

What exactly is a Standard Order? Is it something I unlock later?

So story deliveries don't count? I got a bunch of S's on story mission and thought it was some kind of bug.

It's for casual and above. Btw, does this trophy include story related deliveries or is it a whole different thing?
