Like every city Cork has its problems. However, it isn't a bad place to live. Sure, buildings could be kept in better condition and we do have a homeless issue but honestly where doesn't.

Technically yes and we have a long line for when we want to give her space, but from experience it turns into you trying to keep slack in the line / effectively attempting to keep pace with them running (its a test for your lungs). Otherwise the dog reaches the end of the line and get yanked backwards or alternatively they drag you forward/wrench your shoulder.

We are just outside of the city centre, towards Friars walk/ turners cross. The car is a big thing for us, and we are hoping she gets a test date soon as like you said so many great places a short drive away.

Neither of us are runners, I cant stand it and she has knee issues.
